Polo Fields Remodel: Master Suite

It’s hard to say what I love most about this Master Bath remodel – the redesign of the footprint or the finishes we used to complete the transformation. We started with an oversized jacuzzi tub and a tiny shower. We ended with a large walk-in shower and a make-up area for the homeowner. We kept the existing vanity, but painted it Sherwin Williams’ Knitting Needles (SW7672). We replaced the countertop with a granite remnant and added new faucets, hardware, lighting and mirrors.

The focal point of the Master is definitely the patterned floor tile. It makes such a statement in the room and ties all of our color tones togethers. It works great with the wood plank tile on the shower walls and penny round tiles on the shower floor. This combination of tile is a knockout!

Our contractor Brad Anderson drywalled the lower half of this glass block window for more privacy for the homeowners in the new shower area.

I love this crystal chandelier in the new make-up/vanity area.

We brought Sherwin Williams’ Halycon Green (SW6213) into the space from the Master Bedroom. The pop of color on the walls makes all the gray tone finishes come alive!

We replaced the existing door to the Master Bath with this barn door painted the trim color. It functions better for the homeowners and looks great in the space!

This ready made bedding was our inspiration for the wall color. The homeowners painted their existing bed with Annie Sloan’s Chalk Paint. We rearranged the furniture to give the room a more spacious feel. And let’s face it, who wouldn’t want to look at that awesome tile floor every night before going to bed?!?!
