Color of the Month: Peacock Plume (SW 0020)

Earlier this year, our store got a facelift on a couple of walls. We wanted to be able to showcase our decor with more color! One wall is a beautiful teal color, called Peacock Plume, out of Sherwin Williams Historical Collection. We love to switch up how we pair the color. Below we have pictures of how we have paired other colors with it for completely different looks!

TONE ON TONE

Using just one color can be very soothing. Try pairing items with different textures and adding natural elements like these peonies for variety!

ANALOGUS COLORS

This artwork has so many different blue, teal, and turquoise tones that we were able to play up all sorts of colors adjacent to Peacock Plume on the color wheel!

COMPLIMENTARY COLORS

These camel leather ottomans, the light wood apple, and the bronze etagere are all sort of an orange color. Peacock Plume is sort of blue….and orange and blue look amazing together and are perfectly balanced!

PAIR IT WITH PASTELS!

Step out of your comfort zone and just mix in a ton of color! Here we added pastels with our bold wall. The softer teal/blue in the artwork is all we need to tie this all together!
