Color of the Month: Frosty White (SW6196)
Sometimes you need just a hint of color on the wall – possibly in a Guest Bedroom or a Living Room that has a lot of dark furniture in it. This can be a daunting task because light shades can turn on you – blues can go powdery and greens can go minty. Frosty White, our Color of the Month, is a great color because it stays true. It is also one of those chameleon colors that can go blue or green depending on what you pair with it. Benjamin Moore’s Tranquility (AF490) is another one of those colors. You can check out our post on it here.
For this Study, we wanted to paint the basic white built-ins a deep gray color so we needed to balance that with the wall color. We used blue/green accents in the Foyer so it made sense to pull that color into the adjacent Study. We also used that color to select fabrics and accessories throughout the space.
