Nursery

The new mom wanted to use grays and yellows for her son's Nursery so we painted the walls Benjamin Moore's Hawthorne Yellow (HC-4) and selected a convertible crib and changing table/dresser in a warm gray finish. We found the perfect open bookshelf to fit under the window for toys, books, and selected a neutral fabric on the rocker so this chair could be moved to other rooms if necessary. For finishing touches, we added a custom cushion in the window seat and rug with varying shapes and colors. I am not big on "themed" rooms, but I fell in love with the whimsical jungle motif which is repeated in the artwork over the crib, the mirror over the dresser and the paper mache animal heads. Sleep tight sweet baby.
